Test Format
PTE Academic assesses listening, reading, speaking and writing all through the computer in a single three-hour test session
Part 1: Speaking and Writing (77 – 93 minutes)
In part 1 you will be tested on your speaking and writing skills.
Part 2: Reading (32 – 41 minutes)
This single timed section includes 15-20 independent and integrated skills items to test your Reading Skills.
Part 3: Listening (45 – 57 minutes)
Part 3 includes questions based on audio or video clips.
