What is IELTS?

The IELTS measures the language skills of people who want to study or work when English is used as a language of communication. It uses a scale of nine bands to clearly identify skill levels, from non-users (band score 1) to experts (band score 9).

IELTS Academic or IELTS General

IELTS is available in two test versions: Academic-for students applying for higher education or professional registration and General training for those migrating to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Both versions provide an accurate and valid evaluation of the four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.

IELTS Results

Results for IELTS candidates are published on the 13th day after the exam. All Test Report Forms [TRFs] are sent to the postal address provided in the application. You can also obtain further information by visiting:
