If you have sat for A/L’s, it means you are qualified in OLs. There are half of world universities issue admissions to students who are only qualified O/L’s with certain other requirements.
Myth
I cannot find job in Sri Lanka if I don’t have Sri Lankan Degree
Fact
Sri Lanka’s graduate unemployment has increased up-to 50,000 by this year. Yes, Those who entered to state universities and completed their degrees struggling to find job for certain reasons.
- Sri Lanka has no enough job openings for all the graduates who pass out the universities every year.
- Sri Lankan degrees in the world arena are not recognised for quality education. (Leading State universities are not even listed within the first 1000s in international university rankings)
- Students have to spend more than five years to complete the degree.
